Plenty of rain here, some good dry spells in between have allowed us some time in the garden. Thinned out some of the fennel and took off all the lower fronds, we can now see through them to the plants beyond. Mrs Wilderbeast has given the alchemila mollis an even harder hair cut as they being too unruly for her. Am going to remove them this autumn and use to create hedges along a new path (I know it looks like I'm copying Monty but I've wanted to do it for a couple of years). Did some weeding, how do some weeds get so hugggggggge without me seeing them. Dead headed rose's again. Have started making plans and writing them down for autumn plant moves
In between the showers decided to cut the geranium Johnson’s blue right back. I’ve never managed to get it to reflower so I’m hoping harsher treatment might work rather than just snipping off the flower stems Which is what I’ve done in previous years. Fingers crossed.

I think that's what you need to do to have a chance of it re-flowering. Mine is still flowering well but I'll have to chop back Ingwersens Variety back shortly. It doesn't seem to re-flower though.
Taking some inspiration from Monty the other week, I planted up this succulent pot this afternoon.
Have managed between the rain to pot up a tomato without a home ( there's always one left over just in case) five sweet peppers ( grown from seed from a cooking pepper) it might be a bit late, but we shall see. Pulled lettuce and spring onions for tea, and cooked the potatoes picked yesterday.
So did get out to do the mowing... 3 hours later... ...mowed front lawn, added stuffs to compost heap, tidied up the strawberries, removing runners and older leaves, removed scapes from garlic, tied up new growth on outdoor tomatoes and removed some lower leaves and side shoots, gave all the veg that needs it seaweed feed, fed flowers in pots with miracle grow. Not bad when I thought I would not get much gardening done today with the rain this morning. Felt more like October at times in the breeze than late June.
Edited to add, also dead headed roses and fuchsias.
Mowed the grass and the verge to the front, lots of fodder for the compost. Started preparations for moving all the alchemila mollis, bought some heucarra from the local nursery they are huge so going to divide them and they will be part replacement. More dead heading and weeding. Started pricking out foxgloves, we're going to have loads.
