Nearly finished trellis, fingers are sore. Exchanged butternut squash Seedlings with peeps on the road. One person gave me 2 different types of Basil <3 and the other just left a note saying ‘please leave on porch’ without even a thank you or the promised rosemary cutting!
Hopefully tomorrow will be calmer so I can plant stuff out.

Caught up with the feeding and watering of plants, especially the tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and strawberries. This evening we watered the circular front lawn.  It is looking good after all the special treatment it has had during the Spring.  For once we can be proud of the way the grass looks, all thanks to spiking, moss and weed remover and natural fertilizer.

Had to move a large water butt which was trying to tip sideways into a hedge and put a paving slab down underneath - my fault, I should have done this in the first place! It was a 200L one, full to the brim just a month or so ago and now empty. Watered the roses in pots again and also the veg. High winds have dropped tonight thank goodness.

Watered the last perennial bed, dead headed and removed wind damaged foliage. Potted on my rinicus plants. Planted out a abysinnian banana. Sowed carrots and radish in the raised beds and planted out little gem plants. Sowed 3 types of aqueligia, foxgloves, Coleus and more Rudbeckia (I've had zero success with 2 previous showings). Pricked out basil seedlings (am very excited about these). Laid the concrete and slab for the pizza oven, it arrives Wednesday 😀😀😀
