Planted out a Woodwardia Fimbriata which a local nursery was kind enough to deliver to my door a few days ago.  I was expecting it to be a bit bigger (currently around 2ft) but hopefully it will flourish and grow to fill out the space

Well before the shutdown I ordered some plants, which are due to be dispatched next week, I wonder if they will come.

So planted out remaining hellebore plants which over wintered from seedlings, these went into the autumn, winter, spring garden. Also put in some heucarra and alchemilla mollis.

Planted out 2 delphiniums, hope they do well there huge plants freebies from our window cleaner.

Tree surgeon delivered another load of mulch, lots of green leaf so I soaked it all and it's filled another couple of compost bins. I'm over flowing with the stuff now.

OH spent the day painting timber for pergolas (3 to build) all in black to match the fence and all other wood structures. Building them starts tomorrow.

Despite all what's happening around the country it's fair to say I'm really loving all this gardening 😀
  • Sowed yet more seeds, potted up more seedlings and hardened off more mature seedlings.  This is becoming repetitive, but the demand for my plants is overwhelming this year.

@guernsey donkey do you sell the plants or just gift them out to friends?
