B3 - in the 70s I knew a man who loathed all things American and took great delight in directing them the wrong way round the Circle Line............

I almost bought a small ceramic plant pot from the garden centre the other day but didn't as I'm trying to be good and not buy so many pots. It did have cool little legs though... Then I popped into the supermarket today and they had the same pots for half the price with a variagated form of cotyledon tomentosa in it as well. I bought some chocolates too in case my wife found out I'd bought more pots o:)   Long story short the chocolates tasted terrible and turned out to be 2 months out of date. So I took them back and they gave me a £20 gift voucher. It's a good thing their plants are pretty terrible or I'd probably have used the voucher for those :|

    Jammy b*gger   :D

Out on a hill today, I nearly stepped on this beetle. Never seen one before, so I looked it up when I got home. A sexton beetle apparently. Lovely wee thing  :)

It looked quite weevil-y, so I poked it [very gently]  to see if it could fly, and it just squeaked at me  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

@Obelixx. I did it by accident a while ago. I realised almost immediately, but it was too late. They had disappeared into the crowd. I comforted myself with the fact that I had directed them to a much nicer part of undiscovered London.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Baby sparrows messing about in the comfrey and annoying the bees, I think mum must have told them off 'cos they're sitting on the fence now looking like the three little kittens who lost their mittens - Ah, bless. Just love the comedy in the garden at this time of year  :D
