Huge sycamore down the end of the garden is about to come into leaf and the houses behind it will disappear until next winter.

I decided at 4pm yesterday that I fancied rhubarb crumble for pud. Wandered up the garden for ten minutes, got rhubarb, got sweet cicely, hey presto - dessert with no forethought and hardly any prep. I love it when the garden comes out of winter and starts to provide 'supper on a whim'  :)

Can’t wait for my rhubarb to pop up.

my reason to be cheerful, some of amazon purchases come in enormous boxes, today I received this, two items in a small card sleeve,  which I can reuse or compost.
the box only just big enough for the items, well done amazon.

Did you drive slowly, hosta? This has caused a tad of ire elsewhere
