No clematis just now @Obelixx, just an acer -  Orangeola. The clem will be Julka though, which I've coveted for a while  :)

I spent ages looking at various acers after asking you which ones you had, and although I'd like one of the dark, dissectum ones, this seemed perfect as it has good colours through three seasons.

I can trump that. I tidied the shed.
I half tidied mine last week - does that count?
It doesn't count of the other half is now twice as messy. ;)
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Love that tank @AnniD.    This made me smile - https://www.reddit.com/r/ContagiousLaughter/comments/dpm1n1/news_anchor_laughs_at_trump_announcing_wall_in/

I shall have to look up both of those @Fairygirl

No - but there's a lot of stuff been 'recycled'.... ;)

It needs properly re jigged. It'll happen one day, but it's too r***y cold for that malarkey today. I could always light a fire to stay warm - that could solve the entire problem if I light it close enough....

    That's brilliant @debs64
I'm chuffed because I've just made my 4th apple cake in 2 weeks, getting better at baking!  We're just waiting for a friend to arrive for the weekend to cut it, hope he arrives soon, I'm dying for tea and cake!

Surely you need to test the cake first to ensure it's suitable for visitors.  That would be my excuse anyway. :)

That's the conclusion we came to KT53, when he seemed to be running late! It was very good!

It's called quality control.  When I worked in a care home, the matron would swoop into the kitchen with a cry of "Quality control!", grab a chip as the chef dished them up, and swoop out again munching with an intense expression.
