I've been looking for something on Gumtree for a while and finally found one for sale at a good price but far away. Messaged the guy to ask if he could post and it turns out he's heading up this way on holiday this weekend and can meet me not far away in the morning. It's either incredible luck or he's going to murder me.

Well he didn't seem like a murderer and didn't try to kill me but there were a lot of people around so he might just have changed his mind.

Were you pleased with your purchase? Most folks are reasonable I find and not axe murderers.

Yes really pleased. I've met a lot of people through Gumtree and Freecycle now and almost all of them haven't been axe murderers.

Saw a programme on tv the other night about scammers and fraudsters, apart from banks and eBay, free cycle and the likes were others  that are targeted.

Just checked in online for our holiday to Crete.  Still 4 weeks away but I am feeling thoroughly antidoted.

My wife tried to sell some shoes via Gumtree. Turns out it's full of perverts too. :#

I potted up my big hanging basket, the geraniums and bacopa are already in flower!

Well done, my Bacopa is still in the seed trays!

Its a lovely day here for a change, if the sun dries the earth up a bit I will be planting out perenials.
