    Took hubby for a gentle stroll to exercise his aching back, and found a primrose in flower on the verge.   :)

    @Liriodendron , has your OH tried Voltarol? I swear by it when my back is really bad. Has ibuprofen in it. You can get a 17 hr version of it but haven't tried that as very expensive.

    Thank you, @Lizzie27 - he has ibuprofen gel prescribed, and has been using it for a few days now.  Think it might be doing some good!
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Voltarol emulgel has diclofenac in it. It is a non steroidal anti inflammatory, similar to ibuprofen , but not the same.
