I thought I'd lost my rhubarb, which was particularly galling as it's its third year so I was looking forward to being to crop more. And yesterday I spotted a leaf coming through, when all hope had been lost. No idea why it's so very late in comparison to everyone else's, but prodigal rhubarb has made me cheerful

Nice story, but reference to a science teacher who gives away most of his salary does try to minimise the fact that he's a monk so has taken a vow of poverty.

Had to go for a chest xray this morning at the RUH (walk in outpatients) -  in and out in under 15 mins. Amazing!
