Just had a very good back and shoulder massage which should help to keep me supple ready for the next bout of gardening. My right shoulder was finally x-rayed yesterday so am waiting to hear what the diagnosis is.

Bought two bunches of pastel tulips at SM this morning - I hate cutting my own.

My reason to be cheerful for the day is when a customer was talking about one of my colleagues:
     " He's much older than you ......"
" I'm going to take that, but I need to tell you , I'm the oldest of all the drivers in store"
" Well this guy looks MUCH older than you"

Today's reason to be cheerful is the notification that our park volunteer group has been awarded £340 by the Town Council to buy plants for the park.   :)

That's great news Liri.  Well done you and the team!

Thanks, Obelixx!  We've had fingers crossed for a while, trying to think where we might apply for a bit more money if this didn't happen, so it's great that we can afford a few plants now.

Apologies to those who aren't cheered up by this but more than 2.5 million have signed the petition to revoke article 50. I've included a link.... just in case https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/241584

Great stuff, @DyersEnd.  I'm one of them!   :)

Today's reason to be cheerful is that my hubby informs me it's Friday, not Saturday as I thought when I woke up... an extra day in the garden!!   :D
