Morning all. I was just moaning that it’s still unpleasantly dark in the morning but then I noticed that the birds are chirping away as dawn approaches - maybe they are willing the light back too.
    Have a good day all.

I heard a robin early on yesterday @AuntyRach ... it sounded as if he was asserting rights to his patch ... maybe “spring is in the air” even if we do have some “weather” ahead of us ...

Good morning,  we have definitely had Evensong for about a week and it’s getting stronger each dusk! So encouraging!

I’m trying to ignore them @punkdoc, in the hope that they’ll go away ... problem is nature abhors a vacuum and more will come along to fill the space  >:)

I saw a magpie yesterday collecting twigs. A bit early for nesting, I thought. It has been mild here, but I guess that is about to change. I have three pots of Amistad by the back door that have finally finished flowering. I will cut them down and get them some protection now.  One of my seedling hellebores has flowered. A double white with a few pink spots in the centre of each petal. The seeds came from a double picotee edged, so I guess the bees have been at work again.

    Morning all.
I think today was the first day I've checked BBC before GW.
    What a flippin' mess.
We've had almost governmental paralysis for 2 1/2 years with everything focusing on Brexit and this is the outcome? I bet the lawyers and "negotiators" are laughing all the way to the bank. I wonder if we'll ever be told how much tax payers' money was been spent to get us to this shambles?
I wonder how long Brexiteers will keep shouting " project fear " before the enormity of it will sink into their tiny deluded skulls.

I actually find it embarrassing, how Europe must be laughing at us!

Exactly as I predicted the day following the referendum.
Not just Europe, I think there are some very worried heads at many multinational companies operating in UK. I read that Honda in Swindon will close for 6 days after 29th of March .

I heard a song Thrush singing away merrily the other day. I don't think I have heard one this early ever.
