No frost that I can see in London, Chicky, sorry. It's been cold enough, I think, but there's only a slight coating on the cars. I was hoping for it too, as I'm in Regent's Park today and it looks great in a frost.

Glad the power is still on, Pat :).

Morning and G’day. That’s a shame @Pat E - hope all will be straightforward for hubby and team.
Anyone have snow? (Pat and Hosta - no need to answer 😉) Do take care all.

They are home again.  3 hours of putting out a tree that was on fire. The lightning is currently creating a spectular show opposite the house. I turned off the TV in case we got a strike. I was watching Alice talking about Arthur andTintagel.😏

OH has been out to de-ice the car ... we’ve decided to drive south to do the weekend food shop and have lunch and a pint (for OH) at the coast   :)

Good morning.  Cold, white, frosty start here too.  It does look lovely but doesn't end itself to any gardening jobs.   No matter, plenty to do indoors and walkies later, after some errands.

I hope all your lightning brings some rain soon Pat.   Hugs to all with lurgies or other problems.   Happy seed surfing Chicky.

Warm and wet here, hate these miserable hanging weather days, I’d rather have a good freeze up.
OH off to dig a hole and place ashes in a local Churchyard, the family wanted to do it but there’s a new vicar, (jobsworth) who’s insisting it’s done by a professional 😀

    Hi all.
    Very cold and grey here.
Just treated myself to a new propagator and lights. Never had lights before, don't know whether they will enable me to do more, or do it better.
Old propagator was given to me by FIL, and was ancient 20 years ago, when I got it.

  • LG ther was frost here in N London but mostly lifted now it was -1.5 inside the greenhouse over night (remote sensor).
Happy propagating punkdoc you wont regret the upgrade, it will help you grow much stronger stockier plants, it helped mine.
We have a day in London tomorrow, going to see Klimt at the Royal Academy in the afternoon & going to Romeo & Juliet with the GC's in the evening (it's on their GCSE syllabus).

Enjoy your new toy Pdoc.  Hours of fun ahead.   My old propagator died leaving me with just a small, windowsill sized one with 6 individual trays and lids.  Bit fiddly, especially as there are no indoor windowsills here.

AB- that sounds like a good day out.  Enjoy.

Been having a happy potter in my curtain fabrics and light fittings this morning - OH says he can here my brain thinking.  Dangerous stuff, but now it's time to make some lunch - spicy, garlicky mushrooms and pasta - then head off and do errands.

Cold and wet here. Been for a walk, done some work, popped in to the village for some bits for dinner, decided to call it a day now. I also ordered some fold up reading glasses - it's reached the stage now where I can't read the paper on the train unless I can get the person sitting across the aisle to hold it for me.

Just caught OH chuckling at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UR1rHKywseI
