Busy day today with all day Patch session then mosaic then dinner then facetime with Possum.  Shattered, but at least no distressing/stressing/usetting/infuriating Brexsh*t as I've avoided all News.

Then a friend in Donegal posted this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xScDWbrHJxw Made me laugh.  Hope it does you too.

Lovely Obelixx. We had a good laugh, as well.

We had some laughs at Ukelele yesterday. Someone introduced us to Jingle Bells with Australian words substituted. (No snow). When someone sends me the sheet, I’ll put it on here so you can join me in a laugh. Was much fun.

Also, for those of you who remember “Blame it on the Bossa Nova”, we substituted Bossa Nova for Ukelele.  I can’t get the darned tune out of my head today.😡

30c out there today and Ive just hung the 2nd load of washing out with another to go. The changeable weather this past week has interrupted my routine. I’m glad to have a spell inside for a while.

Good morning all  :) Gday Pat :)  i remember your son and my OH share the same birthdate  :)  Hope he has a good one.  There’s been a bit of confusion re days off at work trying to fit around everyone’s pre Christmas needs (getting to nativity plays etc)  so he’s decided he’s going to celebrate his birthday today as he has the day off ... like the Queen he’ll have two birthdays  :D
Ill make him a cuppa ... but he’s still asleep ...

  • We’re also expecting the electrician today to finish repairing the fire and install the new cooker hood. OH will probably pop up the road to the SCVA to see the Elizabeth Frink exhibition ... we’ll go together another time ... or another several times  :)

    Morning all/afties,evening Pat
Hope the 'boys' have good birthdays when they arrive properly. Always difficult when it falls at this time of year. Honestly - what were you thinking re your timing, Dove and Pat?  :D
Fairly hideous out there. Wind woke me at daft o'clock, and I got back to sleep until about 6. No chance after that. Supposed to die down later, but the rain's thrashing as well.
Hope it's not a big job re the fire Dove. Have I missed you saying what's wrong?
I'm off to look at Obelixx's link before I head out.
Have a good day everyone whatever you're up to.
