@Fairygirl. I had nothing to do with the timing of OHs birth!
i will admit to being partially responsible for my son’s birthdate which will be this Saturday! However he was due on the 7th and had to be hurried along by two hospital maternity units as he seemed determined not to budge. ... he was probably aiming for the 25th ... delusions of self importance and all that
As for the fire ... it’s an unusual type of fuse ... nothing major just a nuisance. We usually only have it on in the autumn and spring for a little heat in the evening when we don’t have the CH on, but it’s nice to have it on at Christmas for the flame effect if not the heat ... it’s a hole in the wall type.
@Hostafan1 you know you’re welcome to come for a visit and see the exhibition

Grey here but mild. OH has been out with Harry who had an MOT appointment. He's fine. Sally's is due on Thursday. They're not the same age but were imported together.....
Cleaning here - washing up drips and smears of oil from the dining room floor after cleaning and feeding the table and sideboard. Need to start on Xmas decs when it's all dry. Lunch first tho. Peckish.
Hope you don't get washed away after your hair-do Lyn. Possum and I are booked in for the 28th. Unusual for me to go twice in one year.
Our December and January are also heavy with birthdays Dove - me, SIL, OH, a nephew and then Possum on Jan 20th. She's coming home again on the 25th for 10 days cos she gets a break after exams. Hope your son and OH enjoy theirs.

Like yours Dove, mine is thinking of having a summer Birthday as well. We can never get in anywhere to go out for dinner at this time of year for people celebrating xmas. A friends husband has his Birthday on the 29th Dec. Even worse. We were thinking that Le Manoir might be a nice place to celebrate it in the Summer. Year after next they have the big 60, so that gives us time to save up for it. 59 might be a BBQ in the back garden here.
How to slow a Sagittarian down.. disconnect the battery.

Morning chaps. I'm hibernating today. It's horrible out there
