Chicky, I refuse to get up in the dark, my psychi just can’t cope, dreading the dark winter mornings
hope you ok, keep those tootsies warm!
who has chickenpox, can be nasty, hope this one isn’t
Pat what are you doing in the library, sorry if that sounds a silly question.
Fairy hope your wings feel brighter today.

i am away to Ftime eldest gd. She has had so many separations in her wee life she is not taking well to being back at school. It’s only three weeks since daddy moved back permanently and now her beloved nanny is here too but seems unable to trust that everyone is staying. New House seems to have complicated things rather than help

  • Good morning all  :). I’ve slept in!!!!   :open_mouth:
@Lily Pilly hope Gd feels more settled soon and that school are being understanding. Bless her ... we expect little ones to cope with a great deal don’t we, and some find it easier than others.
Mornings are definitely dark now Chicky ... but I’m still in sandals or bare feet most of the time. Although it’ll be trainers this morning as tennis starts again ...

Good morning. Shattered here - had to deal with a plumbing issue last evening so late supper and late bed. At least we saved £££ by fixing it ourselves - another badge for the OH’s DIY skills!
Had to wear closed shoes and a rain coat yesterday ...just not ready for all that palaver!
    Have a good day all.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Arghhhh @AuntyRach ... plumbing is way outside our DIY capabilities ... :) think we’ll have to borrow your OH should we get a plumbing incident  :open_mouth:

Interesting news item on Kew researching fungi and potential benefits  :)

    Morning all.
Plumbing issues??? grrrrr. New washing machine coming for the annexe today. grrrr.
I've been awake since just gone 6, but it was too cold to get out of bed.
Hubby can't go to work yet as it's raining and he's painting outside. He was off all day yesterday.
I'm not sure who makes me more angry, Tango Faced Trump or the morons who voted/ support him.

Hello everyone. Back home from gallery duty. I even sold a painting of a white cockatoo.
Lilyp, art gallery, not library. I volunteer there every second Wednesday.

Good morning.   I hoped to sleep off a stiff neck but it was not to be so am waiting for muscle relaxants and painkillers to kick in so I can paint.  On a deadline.  Need a new neck.

Good luck with tennis Dove.  Hope the knees behave.

LG - sounds like you're in for an exhausting but fun time.  Enjoy.  Sleep later.

Hope chicken pox and separation anxieties all go over quickly for the small people.  Not fun.  Get well soon to you too FG.

Well done Pat!   I've just checked our forecast and they've taken away our rain.  None in sight now for 10 days which is as far as it goes.

Hosta - maybe OH can bake some more cakes?

No duvets or covered shoes in store here for a while yet.  Must do my toe nails tonight.
