.I'm having the top of the "hedge"  cut and next week they'll take to tops of the lump on the left which used to be double that height when we moved in .

They don't seem to have much concept of "health and safety" and yes, he did get lifted up in the bucket of the tractor.!!!

    Part 1 done.

  • Glad your father is ok AuntyRach  :)

Son's memory of 'climbing' Snowdon as a 7 year old is of passing a woman in high heels and carrying a poodle.

Just popped down to the post box and passed a large and lately massacred leylandii hedge ... totally naked on the road/pavement side, with some newly planted Group 2 clematis between the trunks ... I say 'planted' but actually they've been put on the ground and had the dry sandy soil mounded up around them ... no sign of watering and the rain we had last night didn't touch the .... they don't stand a hope in hell's chance  :'(

That looks promising Hosta. Will it improve your view of something special?

We’re watching Tony Robinson walking around Dartmoor at the moment on TV.  I seem to remember that a couple of you live nearby.🤥

  • Pat ... if you look hard into the distance you'll be able to see @Hostafan1 's Tree Man cutting those trees!  ;)

And a bit further over to the right and you'll see @Lyn waving at you

Very, very good Dove. 😂😁😁😁. I suspected it was them. I also thought Punkdc was also near there, but my English geography isn’t that good.

Afternoon all,  Feeling a bit 'flat' today, no idea why.  Had a good nights sleep and a lie in and have no real chores to do today, apart from running a few errands for mum, so absolutely no excuse for feeling low.  So I plan to give myself a good talking to and concentrate on the thought that tomorrow I'll be giving Gabriel and Jonah lots of cuddles.

Glad you had some rain Pat, we've had a fair bit here lately and the grass is greening up nicely.

Hosta that hedge is looking better, I've been trimming the ivy back and sharpening up the box cones/balls.  It's suprising what a difference it makes.

I'm glad your dad is feeling better AuntyRach.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out, have a good day everyone.

Have an easy day Yvie and don’t feel guilty. That’s my new mantra when I’m feeling low on energy and enthusiasm. 😏
