Morning all. Been up since 5:30 as early taxi duties to take my Dad for his cardiac procedure today. Will be having a quiet morning now.
Congrats @Lily Pilly. I think anniversaries after 15 years only have special names/gifts at multiples of 5. I was looking some up to remind me and a U.S site has gift ideas for each year...44 is ‘groceries’!!?! Oh dear ☹️😂

Have a good day all, whatever you are up too.

  • @AuntyRach hope your Dad's procedure goes ok  :)

Thanks Dove. He has a massive overnight bag “just in case” - bless him!

  • I think 'just in case' is a good move ... my Aged Ps always had an overnight bag when I was in charge  :)  If they didn't I knew that I'd be the one sent to the local all night store to find toiletries tissues and a pair of slippers  :/

    Hi all.
Grey, windy and wet here [ the weathers not very nice either ]
About to do battle with EE, who seem to have removed all the credit from my phone, which I only found out, when I tried to make a call, only to be told I had no credit.
We are off away for a few days soon, going up to the Knapdale forest, to try and see the Beavers, no idea how likely that is, but we should also get to eat some nice fish.

  • Good luck with EE @punkdoc  .... I hate that sort of battle ... puts me on edge ... I've got one going on at the moment Grrrrrr!!!!

Knapdale sounds just the ticket ... hope you've got your camera ... fish ... very yummy!

Happy anniversary @Lily Pilly.  The groceries could contain a nice bottle or two!

Pdoc, enjoy a good meal at the Crinan Hotel and hope you see the beavers.

Heavy showers earlier but looks as though it's brightening up now.

@Lily Pilly, 44 years, you get less for murder. Many congratulations
@Joyce21, the Crinan Hotel is on our list, we are staying in a cottage on the canal.
