Fairy and Joyce. I have a painting my dad did of Ben Cruichan before it was converted.  We had a holiday home on Loch Awe at Sonachon where I virtually grew up.  My dad was incondescent about the pylons.  We then moved to Arran. Many happy memories

@Lily Pilly, it's lovely down that side of Loch Awe. I've climbed Ben Cruachan many times. Pine martins are now regular visitors to the area round the visitor centre.

How lovely LP. Is it framed and on a wall? Lovely hill. It's one of those rarities that looks exactly the way a child would draw it - if asked to 'draw a mountain'  :)
Only done Cruachan once Joyce - but would love to revisit it. It was a bit wet and murky when I was there. It's a good circuit with the other Munro. Great ridge between them.

Evening all.  Just got in from our trip to Brussels.  Successful raid on the Chinese SM for assorted spices and pastes then a spicy Szechuan style dinner and ice cream for pud at the cinema.  Absolutely shattered now after a busy day.

More of the same tomorrow starting with IKEA which is one of my least favourite shops.

I like Gabriel and many other biblical names too.  Possum has two.

Brain fried now so I'll just wish you all sweet dreams.

I climbed Ben Cruachan on my 30th. birthday, with my ex wife! Maybe it was something I said.
    Great hill.
    Thanks for the info. @Fairygirl.

Ahhh fairy Joyce and punk   Memories!      Such a beautiful part of the world   Yes we have an oil painting done of the peaks. My little sister has it and I am dying to reframe it,  memories of armfuls of daffodils and wading through bluebell woods.  I am certain  that is where my love of flowers began also the boat over to Taycreggan and the post office for Smarties   The boat House had so many naturalised primroses

I wish I could share your Scottish memories. They sound so wonderful. Had a laugh at Punkdoc’s quip. 😃

Memory has faded now of what you all wrote, so night night all.

We’ve had rain overnight. Haven’t been out to read the gauge yet, but anything is gratefully accepted.
