  • Good afternoon all,
I was afraid that might happen, Hosta. The same thing happened to my daughter when she ran out of oil. She called a boiler engineer in and he'd fixed the problem before the kettle had boiled to make him a cup of tea. Hope yours is sorted as swiftly.

We are  in a practice that has three rural surgeries, one is self dispensing. Our local hospital ( has acute facilities and a minor injuries unit) is run by the gps with access to consultants
the ambulance post is the end of the village as we are only 2 miles from m74

  • He doesn't have pets but he has two washing machines ... I expect he likes them to feel needed  ;)

Bedding, towels, darks, whites: it just seems to grow in the linen bin.
Right, I'm very ,very cheesed off .One of the flippin' drive belts on the mower has snapped. Too late to order another one before tomorrow morning.

So gorgeous - congratulations @Yviestevie and family :)

Very sleepy here too - but about to have dinner. All back to normal then! Routine eye test in the morning, and I seem to have developed an eye infection. Not sure if the test can go ahead? It's not conjunctivitis.
