Hi folks,  Big day tomorrow, grandson should make an appearance all being well.
Congratulations on number 12 BL, I'm worn out with 3.  Glad the move went well.

I've been ordering seeds and planning next years pots this afternoon, really enjoyed myself.

Just checking in before bedtime.  Been to patchwork AGM which was quite entertaining as 3 committee members have left (ructions) and 2 of the new ones are 2 of my 3 new pals and they tried to get me to volunteer too but for now I will content myself with egging my two pals on and trying to remember names.  Not my strong point.

Nuts, bolts and washers bought on the way home and extra curtain tape cos the fabric is wider than the assistant said so I came up one width short.  Found some "voile" in a loose, linen looking weave so Possum can have a curtain that lets in daylight but hides the view of neighbouring walls and a terrace from her bedroom and ran that up for her whilst also cooking her last supper, watering all my treasures in pots thoroughly and packing a suitcase full of curtains, duly made.

Shattered now so need a good sleep before setting off for Namur in the am. Hope your windscreen gets fixed OK Busy.   LG - Hope Bow settles in quickly and enjoys herself.
Pdoc - you have far more important things to worry about so just come out and play please.  Hosta - your oil and gas renewal system needs a re-think.  Hope all goes well with the new baby Yvie.  LP - your dogs sound like good fun.

Sweet dreams all, especially those I've missed.

@Busy-Lizzie ... just are tip from an owner of a French car ... this place http://www.cit-ren.co.uk/ is on the edge of Norwich and they're fantastic ... you may not have wanted a second-hand part ... but if you ever do I can heartily recommend them ... they're absolute stars  <3

Thank you for the link, Dove. Don't know if they would have had my windscreen, new car last year, there's a camera and rain sensors built into the screen. But it may come in handy as OH has just bought a 2nd hand Renault Megane Estate in Norfolk. We'll be able to come by plane and then train so won't have to hire a car.

  • I don’t know how but I’m still wide awake ... unusual for me ... and I’ve missed the start of the new Book @ Bedtime ... I’ll have to Listen Again.
But for now I’ll snuggle down and hope to sleep. Sweet dreams all ...

  • Morning all, hope you don't mind me gate crashing... I've been up since before the crack of dawn with my teething 8month old 😔 and there was nothing left for me to read! Lol.

@Hostafan1 I have a watchman alarm on our oil tank. Basically a wireless receiver, you have a cap on the tank and a plug in the house (ours is in the kitchen) it tracks and tells you how much oil you have left also alarms if someone decides to try and steal your oil! Very useful 👍
  • Good morning all  :) and Welcome @Vegplotmummy please pop in whenever you like and especially when your little one’s teeth are causing upset. I remember those days ...

Up early for me (PC anyway) and Possum was sat on her bed fiddling with her PC and said "Oh, Cool!".  What?  "I don't start classes till the 24th!".  So why are we going back today?  "Student council meeting tomorrow (she's president) and meetings with principal and heads of sections to confirm time-tables for all the students............"   The joys of responsibility.

All very well but it's going to be 12C and wet in Namur tomorrow.  Here it'll be 27C and sunny.

Hope you got some sleep VPM.  Little 'un too.

Busy - no Car Glass in Norfolk?  I thought they stocked everything.  French cars not exactly scarce in the UK.

OK - second coffee.  Jeans and long-sleeved t-shirts to pack and then we're off.   See you later, much later.
