The Guildford store used to be nice. No idea what it's like now though. They sold Ralph Lauren and Versace cheaper than most other places. Gosh, was that elitist?
Don't think so @Hostafan1 ... not if you're admitting to watching the pennies

Nah ... sensible ... just like me ... perhaps I'm even more sensible 'cos I don't buy Versace etc ... but on the other hand, don't think they make stuff for 'traditionally built ladies'

Designer clothes are made for flat chested boyish girls and women aren't they? Unless you go for really haute couture and have it made to measure. Vogue patterns have recently started offering a few patterns for "gifted ladies". All their patterns assume a B cup but now some offer adjustments for C and D. A small step in the right direction.
I used to like DH Evans in Oxford Street (great bra department for gifted girls) but then it became House of Fraser. Disaster. Sports Direct will make it all so much worse.
Don't really use department stores any more but then I'm more of an SM and GC/DIY and fabric shop girl.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I've only ever been in a Sports Direct shop once, and it was so vile I left , very quickly. Horrid "clothes" on racks far too crammed together and very loud music is my memory.
That's the one. Oddly, Abercrombie was worse - hot, dark, excessive amounts of perfume in the AC system and loud music and then they expect you to pay huge amounts to advertise their logo on crap fabrics badly put together.

Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister used to give youngsters jobs as 'models' ... then they'd discover they were really just sales assistants on commission only or similarly awful rates of pay. Don't know if they still get away with it or if youngsters have wised up.

Allotment Boy, make sure nobody knows you're storing stuff in the shed, or it'll be gone before you know it.
That reminds me of an old man I knew. He had an allotment at the bottom of our street. They had loads of trouble with thieves stealing their products. The one day, after all his ripe strawberries has disappeared, he had a bright idea. He bought a bag of flour, and liberally sprinkled it on his strawberry plants. He then put a notice next to them, saying they had been treated with a strong poison. Nobody stole anything from his plot that year, to the amazement of his neighbours on the site.
