Morning @punkdoc. Any progress with the graffiti removal?

Graffiti still looks a mess this morning, but I am going to have another go, and I think that should do it.

Anyone available to flag the advert on the Traffic Noise thread?

Ah don't worry, looks like Nora's nabbed him.

Good morning.   Took ages to get to sleep last night as I was being dive bombed by flying critters as I read by Kindle light and they wouldn't go away when I turned it off.  I have bites this morning.   Humph!

Feels cooler today but still almost 30C in the kitchen which is north facing.   We have clouds but no hint of rain.   I hope you get some rain Pat.  Looks pretty desperate in NSW.

Good luck with that wall Pdoc.   Just what you need, not.    Hope your trip goes well today Liri and preps for next week too.

We get green woodpeckers here too Dove.  They tend to scrabble round the trunks of the ash trees by the pond and shout at the world.  Is that yaffling?   Hoopoes still here but no more soft, mournful song so I assume that's a breeding thing.   Lots of bird song I need to learn to recognise as most of the small birds are indistinguishable little brown jobs that don't sit still for visual recognition..

Bit of h****work for me this morning before it gets too hot and then sewing and passata.   Possum thinks it only comes out of a jar!

I'm not falling for " oh it's been raining, these pots won't need watering" malarky. I'm off to water the terrace.
Have a nice one ,and I'll catch you all later.

See you out there Hosta ... think there's some runner beans to pick for the freezer and some sweet corn to inspect ... I'd better check the psb for caterpillars too ... and I could prep the patch where the next sowing of Swiss chard is going (where the mange tout were) ... the current lot of chard is bolting and it's not been there very long ... I blame the heat ...

I spent yesterday afternoon freezing runner beans, don’t know why, I don’t like them from frozen,  I didn’t grow so many plants this year for that reason but they’ve just been fantastic, best year ever. They love the hot sun.
Same with tomatoes although 22 plants were a bit excessive. 😱
That’s trouble with me, I can’t resist growing a seed then when they’ve germinated I have to keep them all 😀

Overnight climate change here, wet, windy and cool. We’ll be moaning about the rain soon.

Between those I grew from seed, and those you gave me,I've got 45 tomato plants.
