I informed Social Services last time there was a problem, but do not know what action they took. He is not a very likeable 15 year old, but then I am not sure I was; and living with a step father, who does not like you, and is a total t####r, cannot be easy. I am not sure what best I can do, other than to help when necessary. It would be nice if his mum would actually speak to me, but I don't think that is going to happen.
In other exciting [ or otherwise ] news, I have today resigned from the Labour Party. I have been a member all my adult life, but I hate the way the party is going, and am also thoroughly disillusioned with the state of politics in general.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
@punkdoc you're probably doing all that can be done ... the resources of Children's Services being what they are at the moment ... fifteen is so young ... but it doesn't feel like it when you're the fifteen year old. Hopefully you can be a source of help and sound advice if nothing else.
As for politics ... a plague on both their houses! It was a mess ... now they're making in a bdooly awful mess ... what an idiot Cameron was ... it was never ever capable of being dealt with by a straightforward yes/no answer.

Lovley to hear from you @Clarington. Sending you a sprinkle of positive vibes. Good idea on bottles - I sink small plant pots or bottles into my tomatoes etc. Who mentioned Ovaltine? There’s not much I don’t like the taste of but 🤢 (memory of lumps in the drink at Brownie Camp 😝). Hosta - I thought it was just me who had seen bizarre parcel manoeuvres? Oh - that’s a statement @Punkdoc; is any party going a good way though??
Hello everyone. Funny that some of you are disappointed with your politicians - I feel the same way here, and like you Punkdoc, I’ve always supported the Labor party, but I’m really questioning their antics at the moment. I don’t think it helps that the media does its best to stir things up. Worn out from my volunteer afternoon at the gallery. Luckily, Hubby had a tasty lamb stew on a slow cook this afternoon, so an easy dinner. Flopped now watching the cyclists.
Wow!! @punkdoc. You must be angry. I've said it before, and I'll say it again; "there's not a single politician of any political persuasion who deserves my respect, my trust , or my vote"
If his wife has any sense she's locked David C in that shepherd's wagon they bought for him to use as a writing office. Maybe she'll find a cliff it can roll off. Memoirs anyone?
Well done Pdoc. That latest thing with antisemitism is just beyond the pale. Cherry on the icing on their dreadful cake.

Right, back to day-off jobs...
pdoc, I think most people are disgusted with politics just now.
BTW where is Cameron and what's he doing?

Really, can they find 1,200 folk who care?
