Several nasty crop fires here in East Anglia   http://www.eadt.co.uk/home   ... and Wonky has heatstroke from being stuck in a traffic jam in the van because of an accident and she just got too hot ...she has been told to stay at home tomorrow.

Poor Wonky.  Hope she gets plenty of rest and fluids and feels better soon...

She's down in the basement with a batch of home-made rehydration drink ...  both looking after each other and making sure each of them drinks enough.  I've passed your kind messages on to her.  Thanks  all  :)<3

We're not built for this! Temperate climate , my a++e. I hope you're both feeling better soon.
Perhaps members from climes used to this could give us a bit of advice for dealing with it, bearing in mind we don't normally need air conditioners. Never mind weapons into ploughshares,it's umbrellas into parasols
We also don't need snow ploughs or tyre chains-until we do.
The weather always surprises us and if it lasts for more than a week, it annoys us  :#

At the moment all my gardening consists trying to stop things dying. Is anyone else feeling like that?
