Setting up the BT tower as a pigeon roost is a much more sensible, long term suggestion.

Oh Fire, now you've done it. What have I got you into? I think you just got flagged at Quantico...........

If you don't hear from me again, you'll know I'm in some offshore, outsourced, stateless prison held under new pigeon-to-pidgeon anti-terrorist legislation. Please send seeds.

BT almost burned my house down. The engineer came to fit an internet and drilled from inside my office room where the point needed to go. His 2 foot long drill bit went through the wall rather too easily so we went outside to see what had happened. The tip was sticking out of the door of the gas meter box and had just clipped the incoming main gas pipe. Luckily not enough to damage the pipe and even luckier he'd missed my water butt which was right next to the meter box. He took careful measurements before drilling the next hole...
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
