I can recommend the money saving expert website if you haven't already tried it. I've saved loads over the years thanks to them, made several hundred pounds swapping my bank accounts about and got bonus vouchers on things like insurance.
To keep it curmudgeonly though, why is it so hard to buy in bulk in this country? Most other countries, especially the USA, seem to have places where you can buy things in quantity to save money but here we seem to get penalised for buying more, and the more packaging something has the cheaper it seems to be. I used to shop at Macro a lot but it's now cheaper to buy the same things in smaller packs from a local shop.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
I think it compares the prices/totals of you shopping list at various supermarkets and tells you where the whole list will cost you the least ... you can then go straight onto the appropriate supermarket booking site to book your delivery.
Does that make sense?

Ocado are life savers. Free delivery on Wednesdays and most evenings (by me). The £40 min is a problem for me too but I save up my shopping and do a shop every ten days. I freeze milk etc so it does work out if I'm planning carefully. I also have space to stock pile loo roll, cleaning materials etc if I need to top up and order to make £40. As I don't drink or eat much meat It's not always easy to find enough stuff I want to buy. A good way around of things, I guess. I like the Tesco price-match too. Ocado do send me £10 vouchers regularly, if it turns out Tesco was cheaper on certain items. Also they send vouchers if the drivers are late.
I love Ocado. Really regret not being able to afford them now.

Just an idea ... do you know anyone living close by who would like to do an online shop but also doesn't need £40 worth of stuff ... you could put in a joint order and share it out ... I know one of you would have to carry stuff home but if you took turns in having the delivery to your place it might just work ... splitting the delivery cost would help too.

It certainly doesn't help. If it isn't urgent, do something else till your mood improves or your subconscious solves the problem while your brain is otherwise distracted.

It looks like it buys from lots of supermarkets and then delivers to you but I'm sure I've read that wrong!
