I was flat chested up to the age of 16, when I blossomed into a 34 E. At the time that gave a choice of two white bras. When I went through the menopause, I hoped they would shrink, but no, ,now 34 HH.  My next door neighbours  company used to make bras for M&S. He asked if I bought them. No.. they don't make them big enough. Thankfully there is a Bravissimo in Nottingham, because Rigby &Peller is a. in London, a place I hate, and b, chuffing expensive. So what size clothes? 12-14 trousers, 16 to 18 tops. Dresses look like sacks if the top bit fits.  The lovely ladies at Bravissimo say I am 14 super curvy.

What sort of brain do the people who think up these things have for goodness sake?!

Must admit they made me laugh.

FB - I buy some of their cotton stuff in the sales - 16 really curvy.  It fits well and is nicely shaped but, for my age and height their frocks are too short unless I stand all day and don't bend over!

Mine have never been oversized, but from the moment they appeared, they have headed south.  ("Billiard balls in socks")  A bra has only one job to do, but I rarely find one that does it.  OK when I put it on in the morning, but during the day, the weight of the contents pulls the front of the bra down and the back rides up.  Not a pretty sight when I undress at night.  Fortunately OH is usually asleep by then.  I tried Bravissimo, their prescription was to wear a tighter bra with larger cups.  I could hardly breathe.  I also tried Wonderbra.  Great when it was new, but after a few wearings and washings it softened, the upper edge collapsed and I overflowed.  I may resort to nipple piercings and helium balloons.

They're right Jo.  Your bra is too loose.  Try tightening gradually so you get used to it.  They do have adjustable straps you know.

When I was pregnant, my feet got bigger and I am now 2 shoe sizes larger. Do you think that might be a safety counterbalance measure for when the bazoongas get huge? :*

I solved the problem by having a reduction op in late 1970s.

My friend had a reduction, two years later she found a lump, she asked if it had anththing to do with the op, he told her if hadn’t had the op she would never have found it, it saved her life.

It's true that big boobs make it hard to find lumps. Esp if their massy (not very soft). I found a lump when I was doing yoga and twisted into an odd position. There was no way on earth I would have found it otherwise. The doctors couldn't feel it even when directed to where it was. I also had a dream the night before that the lump was there, else I wouldn't have been thinking about it. I'm not sure I would be here otherwise.

Chemo, radio, drugs and all is well. But I learn something about self-checking and not doing it sitting up  all the time, or at the same angle. The leaflets etc never mention that. Older women having regular mamos would catch it via screening, but I was in my 30s.
