I am with you both Pansyface and Ruby. My mum was in hospital earlier this year, and my OH took me for a walk around the hospital. We arrived back at the ward and l was completely disoriented, there was no way l could have found it on my own.
When we were small, we used to go with our mum to two different branches of the same national chain, in different parts of town. I think my brother was turned 60 before admitting that he used to think they were the same shop, and we'd just come out by a different door.
AnniD .I have had that experience in LGI, it is such a big hospital .For some reason only known to themselves, they have removed the coloured lines on the floor which guided you to your department.
By the time we got back to where we started Ruby, l really was feeling a bit dizzy. It's a shame that something helpful like the coloured lines have been removed. I expect that was someone's idea of an improvement.
Recently we have had several appointments at hospitals .Timewise we have had to factor in finding our way around or getting lost .So we arrive at the hospital about twent minutes early.
