You can buy stuff that says it removes colour runs. Never tried it myself.

I've used, ( well my ex wife and Husband have used ) those colour run things and they work well. Not always 100% but worth a go.

Re the noisy phone conversations on the train ... joining in is great fun ... say loudly don't forget to tell her about ...’ and add a load of stuff about the zoo and aunty Joan and the ice cream and go on and on ... they usually go elsewhere or end the call 😉

Catching four trains every day to and from work as i do you get used to that! My biggest gripe is people with those massive headphones that even manage to enable me to listen to their choice of music. How thoughtful.

I once saw a man produce a loaf-shaped fruit cake from his bag. He tore one end off the wrapper and ate the whole thing like a chocolate bar.
He did it reasonably quietly though.

I could happily do this most days. Thankfully, I don't.
  • Morning all!   Well, it's nearly afternoon but after a night of tummy shenanigans, the details of which you will not be pleased to hear, I have finally got up.

That's the last time I shop at Iceland.

I used to get deliveries from Ocado.  For about 10 years. And in all that time, I think I had one very late delivery and a couple of weird swaps.    But 6 months ago, I changed to Iceland, for financial reasons.   So far, I've had one delivery nearly 2 hours late, veggie burgers replaced by Angus beef burgers (the dog loved those!), inedible rice that was so bad even the dog wouldn't touch it, and now bad macaroni cheese.  And these were all on separate deliveries.   So enough is enough.

Unfortunately I can't go back to Ocado, though I wish I could.  So Asda here I come.   I really wish Aldi/Lidl did deliveries.

WonkyWomble speaks very highly of Morrisons deliveries ... when they delivered stuff with a close sell by date she wasn't charged for it and they gave her a big box of chocs!!!
