@Fire, I deliver shopping for Waitrose.

I hate being cold. (I suffer with Raynaud's and "SAD" in winter )You'll never , ever hear me say " I'm too hot"
We used to have an apartment in Goa and spent 3 months there every winter. 33C every day low of 23C at night and we never used the Air Con we had installed when we bought  it off plan.
    Devon.

That's very rough. I'm glad you enjoying the heat and your astonishing garden.

My husband has hay fever and keeps closing the bedroom window... I’m like some raging nutter when I go to bed and start opening everything and then he starts sneezing, or snoring so I complain some more lol!
No guarantees, but after a lifetime of suffering from hay fever, I’m now using over the counter Cetrizine (an antihistamine). Cheap as chips. Hay fever no longer exists in my world, thank God.

It sounds so minor, somehow, to have hot flushes, like it wouldn't be that hard to adapt, but I found it so hard to function.

oooh have I missed an opportunity to be offended? Rats.

I was going to say that not listening to the gossip is 100% the best way to get on with one's neighbours. If you don't know they are saying rude things about you, you can carry on being cheerfully blase when you meet them. It'll really annoy them without any stress for you. It's like when someone fails to notice when you aren't speaking to them - REALLY annoying  :)
