Ouch Glenys ... poor chap ... and what a horrid shock and worry for you all.  Here's hoping for a swift recovery ... thinking of you ((hugs)).

@Obelixx ... Rosa Bonica and Clematis viticella Venosa Violacea ... the thing is the clem didn't get cut hard back as usual in Feb so is coinciding nicely with the rose.  Next year I think I'll only trim it rather than cut it hard back.

One of my roses and Clematis have joined hands as well, and now the honeysuckle wants to join the party.  I’m pleased with it though, I can’t grow roses here very well and they’ve been in for about 4 years, this is the best they’ve been,

Thank you Dove, so does yours, isn’t this just the best time of the year, everything growing and fresh.

@Lyn :)   We've just had a few days on the Lincs/Cambs border, and usually I come back thinking the gardens here just don't compare with the ones there, but this time I think our look just as good ... we've had lots of warmth and just enough wetness.  :)

That's lovely Lyn.  Dove - I tried that clem in Belgium but it died of cold one bad winter.  Hardy to -25C according to my supplier!

Lovely warm sun while walking the doggies and now I'm tired but not hungry or sleepy.   Might just go and clean the fridge tonight so I can sunbathe with a clear conscience tomorrow.

Lovely minglings Dove and Lyn - picture perfect.
Hosta - I cut my caffeine intake by half at first and now I only have one, or even nil, per day and feel better for it.
@Glenys2 - fractured ribs can often lead to chest infections if the person is too sore to breathe deeply and comfortably so make sure your OH has pain relief which is strong enough to allow easy breathing. I hope he is feeling ok.

Sending sympathy to your OH and to you, Glenys. Very painful.

    Gorgeous roses and clematis.

Pottered about doing stuff in veggie garden, picked raspberries, watered GH tomatoes.
Fell asleep in front of Escape to the Country and did some ironing in front of Charlie Dimmock.
Started cleaning the pool but since I put chlor choc in it and the GCs went swimming it's gone cloudy so I couldn't see what I was doing. Left it on filter with a load more chlorine.
    Been warm and sunny.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Lovely rose/clematis/honeysuckle combinations Lyn and Dove.
Heavy rain this evening but I think we've had sufficient now to have penetrated to a reasonable depth.

Still no rain here. I seem to spend half my time watering.
