Busy week here, seem to have got myself on the map for large groups, luckily they are reserving in advance but it's still a lot of baking.
Also had a new floor put in down in the basement, not all of it but around the washing machine and tumbledryer area. Obviously had to clear it all out whilst job was done and then put it all back again, plus get all the rubbish to the tip. Of course this all has to be done outside opening hours so makes it a very long day.
Sun has arrived for the week end, been showery all week, good for my new plants but still rather annoying, surely we should be getting a bit more summer like weather by now, forecast not too good next week either!
This is my new new passion flower freshly arrived from the UK. It is in an old well on the terrace and is slowly winding it's way around it. This was the first flower to open since it arrived. Lovely colour.

Annoyingly - I could have got a walk in this morning if I'd got up earlier. It looks like the thunder etc won't be appearing till later. Bah... Washing's on though...and I've just spent fifteen mins removing lily beetles who were getting 'friendly' along with a right load of their sh*tty offspring. Very satisfying [if messy] squishing them We're neve happy DD - we need wet for the plants, but we also want it dry and sunny! I'm treating this as summer because the rain will arrive at some point and then we'll be struggling to get things done outside
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all. Absolutely no complaints about the weather here. It's been lovely for about 5 weeks now. Enough rain to keep the garden happy ( I need to water pots though ) and enough sun to give me a rather good tan. My job for today is to plant the remaining dahlias down in The Allotment to let the m grow on for a year and hopefully let me label them .
Morning all. A bit misty earlier but pleasant now. DD, being busy is a good sign Fairy, the rainy season will start when the schools close at the end of the month.
Hello everyone else who arrived while I was showering ... good to see you all and especially to hear such good news from DD ... all the hard work is paying off
Hosta ... next year we're aiming for September, so won't be able to guarantee good May/June weather

I need to wash my bedding so that would probably do it too!

It sounds as though we are all fed up with our weather.
Off to London today to see Chess - one of my favourite musicals back in the day. Hope its as good as I remember.
Hope everyone gets the weather they need - be that rain or shine ☔️☀️
