I love my pure wool socks in the winter and it keeps my fingers from locking up.

Like the new colour Hosta.  Previous one doesn't look grey to me.

The water lilies I planted ( ie tied to a lump of brick and lobbed ) in the lake last year have done well.

But the level is the lowest I've ever seen it.

Love the colour Hosta.   It'll be sunny even on a grey day.

Our pond is going down too now and I expect it to be completely dry by the end of a normal summer but I'm not sure we get "normal" any more.

Too nice to be indoors ☀️  Spending my lunchtime sat in our office meadow (piece of rough ground that someone had the foresight to grow a meadow on a decade ago.  It’s fantastic now - I’m watching butterflies 🦋 and green woodpeckers play)

Love the paint job Hosta - looks so fresh 😀. And the lilies are brilliant too 🌸

Very pretty @Hostafan1 ... great choice of colour!

Those water lilies look very happy, and glad Bazeeeeel and friends aren't around any more.   We topped our pond up with tap water yesterday ... not really an option for you  ;)

I had to pop into the village to go to the bank and W'rose and I've just been watching two idiots in two huge 4WDs trying to get into the tiny car park behind our Barclays without giving way to the little Clio that was coming out ... there's only room for half a dozen cars at the most and it was jam packed when I'd looked a few minutes before (so I parked at W'rose) so there was obviously no room for the Clio to go so the first 4WD started to reverse, unnoticed by the second one (goodness knows where he/she was looking).

Much hooting, shouting and waving of arms ensued ... you'd have thought we were in the Mediterranean from the animation! Perhaps it's the heat .......... anyway, the second 4WD started to reverse back onto the road but by then the traffic lights at the junction had released a long queue of traffic (including a bus) all heading down Church St past the bank ... but they were held up by another selfish idiot who had parked on double yellows in order to visit the ATM outside the bank, and the bus and other traffic couldn't pass it because there was a queue of traffic in the opposite direction waiting for the filter left light to let them out of Church Street ... everyone was stuck there for ages all hot and sticky and peed off .......... such larks!!!
    rolleyes lol
