Could be FG. She called this afternoon to tell me she's got all the credits she needs for her degree. Ceremony late Thursday pm. No hissies. No apologies. We'll be back to hissies tomorrow as she and her Pa still have to find an apartment and tempus fugit.
Well done on the car tho. What did you get? Hate buying cars so only do it when ours are falling apart.
Hot here still - 36C at 6pm but cooler indoors. Doggies walked along the shadier lanes and now flopalot, belly up.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Indeedy doody Joyce Qashqai. Wasn't intending buying at that point, just a look, so had to do a bit of hurried transferring of funds etc, but it's all good. The man at another dealerships [where a car was of interest ] couldn't give me a simple yes or no to a simple question [wanted me to go there for more info] so I'll enjoy emailing him to say I've bought a car elsewhere. Serves him right Hope SIL is better soon Dove. Miserable for him. Obelixx - at least I don't have to go flat hunting! She's heading for a punch in the chops if she's not careful though.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
((Hugs)) for Wonky and her lovely hub ... 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 hope he’s feeling better soon
Happy newcar Fairy 🚗🚙🚗.... always a tricky negotiation. We run our cars into the ground too.....but exceptionally pleased with my new one 😀
Littlest chicklet still in the air 😳. She’ll be fine, I know. I just do rent-a-worry ....can’t help it 😊
Glad Possum has got the grades she needs to be happy. Hope she calms down soon. Mum’s should not be used as punchbags 🥊 😮.....but its only coz she knows you care ❤️
Re brattish behaviour ... It's probably just a release of stress and just because they know they can. That's me being nice ... if it's not that it's just attention seeking behaviour. Either way the best thing to do is to ignore it. But totally ignore it ... and them
And of course ... I've been there before you. ... so do as I say, not as I do etc etc etc
Thanks for kind thoughts for Wonky and SIL
Sweet dreams all Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Thinking about Wonky’s hub. They might want to invest in an aircon unit for the bedroom. I also find the heat hard to take, but obviously not like his condition.
ive already forgotten who sympathised with me about the dead kangaroos, but thanks everyone. I have another one to worry about now. Hubby had to take a fire truck in to town this morning for maintenance so when I eventually wandered out, looked out to the front gate and can see a large lump on the road which is moving a bit. I suspect an injured kangaroo, but it’s too far away to see clearly. I’ve rung Hubby to see if he is nearly home and told him my concerns. We keep a Stanley knife in the glove box for similar situations, so that we could cut their throats quickly to end their pain. 😪😪😪😪 I think I’m too soft for this type of life sometimes. Can’t bear seeing them in pain.
While I was bustling around in the kitchen to get my tea and toast ready, I sort of saw something on TV about a large out of control fire in the UK. I think it was near Manchester. I’ll keep the TV going until the next hourly cycle comes on to see it properly. Sympathies to anyone nearby.
I just saw the repeat article about the fire. It’s in moorland near Manchester and very large. They are using helicopters to help with water bombing. Looks grim.
Obelixx, sorry to hear about teenage tantrums. Been there and done that, as they say. The only positive thing I can say is that they do grow out of it and you can look forward in your grannie years to having a laugh at her having to cope with her offspring. My friend Julie has a good laugh at her daughter trying to dope with her granddaughter and says .....PAYBACK! Of course her daughters denies being like that.

Joyce - absolutely. Tho I don't think I'll be painting the downstairs loo in this heat.
