Morning all again. Happy Birthday Pat. Keep warm. Wall to wall sunshine here . I think watering this morning and see if it's warm enough to have a little lie on the sunbed later.
Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes everyone. I’ve had a good day. Now relaxing in front of TV for a change (ha ha). A friend sent me some Inktense colours to play with, so I’ve been doing some colouring/painting this afternoon.
Both the twins cardigans are done and ready to take to Canberra when we take Pixel back to our son next week.
Now to make a shopping list for that trip for things we can’t get in our area. Small town shops can’t carry a big range. One item we can not get here is Rookwurst which I need for a cabbage meal that I like to make.
It's beautiful here too - hope the park keeper has left us the promised bowser of water, so we volunteers can keep our fruit garden happy over the next few weeks. Yesterday while we were weeding, we tried to persuade some passing mums and children to pick some of the ripe wild strawberries, but they were a bit reluctant. Hopefully they'll return when we're not there and help themselves...
Just finished the Great Loft Sort-out. Hooray! Things are now much more organised as well as cleaner... and we can put spare dining chairs etc up there and leave a bit more room in the house.
Did I make a mistake? An ethical mail order firm was offering 20% discount, and I bought a 15 litre "refill box" of the washing up liquid I like. I hadn't realised quite how big it would be. Where on earth can I put it??
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

“It's still magic even if you know how it's done.”

Just check around the grounds for the next few days for any other corpses ... don't want your lovely buzzards picking them up.
Pat, glad you're enjoying your day
Well, OH has his suit, I've found a teal artificial gerbera to go with the teal ribbon to stick on my hat and the car has had a wash and wax.
Just got to stick the flower and ribbon on the hat and we're ready for tomorrow.
Liri ... here everything goes in the garage ........ except the car
