She worked in the export dept so may have been involved in shipping some of your stuff. Small world eh? She used to give me the most wonderful freebies. ( discontinued lines, product development samples etc )
Looks a wee bit chilly there Pat G'day Good morning all Glorious morning here ... perfect for the wedding. Nothing much to do this morning other than paint my toenails and pick some mange tout and cut a lettuce. Then we'll put on our glad rags and head south.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all/afties Pat - hope you're keeping warm now. Belated birthday greetings from me - I've only skimmed through the last few pages on here and I've already forgotten everything... Have a virtual piece of cake - no worries re sugar there.... Have a lovely day Dove - don't be falling in at all hours carrying your shoes and a kebab.... Cool here but supposed to warm up a bit. Yesterday was nice - pity I had to work. Busy time of year for us but we're getting near the 'top of the hill' now and should get a little less stressful soon. I hope... Still not made a decision re the new car. I can't cope with car salesman, but it's even worse when they want you to visit their dealership instead of answering a simple question by saying yes or no. They can go and get raffled if they think I'm doing that. Getting a little timber green house. been considering it anyway, and my mind was made up for me by the recent storm and the 'departure' of yet another little plastic one I'll have another look round and see what's going on here while having more tea....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all , again. Have a lovely day @Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble. I was watering the garden at 4.30 this morning. Not a drop of rain forecast for the whole of next week.
Good morning. Another bright and sunny start but still breezy. Taking advantage by doing lots of washing as it's drying so quickly. Lovely pile of ironing building up for OH's return.
Mix of h*****work, sewing and plant pottering in store for me today but first I have to go and buy a lemon for smoked mackerel pâté for patchwork on Monday - savoury dip thingy for the apéro at midday.
Dove and WW - enjoy the wedding.
FG - good decision about the greenhouse and also not messing with idiot salesmen. Let them earn their commission.
Hosta - don't complain about no rain. Remember you enjoy sunshine and warmth and it looks like you have some on the way.
Have a lovely day everyone.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
