Me too Pdoc.    Hope you're OK.

We have had unforecast rain and wind in the night and my fancy obelisk has been blown over.   That's OK as it's used as a bird feeder so no plant disaster.   Still damp and looming feeling out there.

I'm off back to bed anyway for a couple of hours  Kept awake by busy kitties half the night and am feeling wiped out.

Greetings to all as you arrive.  I hope all storms have passed without incident or at least permanent damage.

    Good morning all.
@punkdoc - if that breathlessness has not passed after sitting up and resting - you need to be checked out (which you know anyway) - hope all settles.

Good morning, very dull and soggy here today
Pat super idea to put anchovies in the oil, I will try that,
Punk hope you settling, think of slow even breaths if you can 🤞
family got here no bother, storm didn’t seem to delay flights. It’s wonderful to see the children enjoy the bigger spaces and fresh air after London. Dil worries terribly about the pollution

  • Dull here, very damp and showers on and off is the forecast. Traditional Scottish summer dress of shorts, sannies, parka, snorkel, waterwings and umbrella will be required for any trip further than the end of the road. :)

My young plants are still standing, even if they do look like they have been through a 30° synthetics cycle with added softener.  :/  which is what will be happening to the moggie that has s*** in the middle of the garden if I get my mitts on it!

Sorry, I should not post stuff like that.
Think I was panicking a bit, need to accept that I am breathless sometimes, and it doesn't necessarily mean the end of the world.
Once I am settled, am going to plant out the Cleome and the remaining tender stuff.

It's absolutely fine to post stuff like that ... putting our fears into words helps us to process them ... forums/fora where you are known and safe are brilliant for that sort of thing ... and we'd worry like heck if we thought you were poorly or a bit scared and we were blithely thinking you were ok.  Go ahead and share ... collectively we have very broad shoulders ((hugs))  :)   Always a hand to hold on here ... although they may all be a bit muddy and with broken fingernails  ;)

You plant your cleome and I'll plant my clematis  :)

Good morning to the rest of you  B)

Hmmm OH has to dash into the city and has forbidden me from planting clematis and putting up wires until he gets back ... apparently he doesn't want to return and find me in a crumpled heap under the pergola 'cos my knee's given way ............ so I've got to noodle with you lot and drink coffee until he returns.  He shouldn't be very long  :)
