    Well done Pat.  Lovely cardies.

Dove - you can't say you've bought a clem and not tell us which one!

Bit late I expect but fingers crossed for you LG.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Thanks Obelixx. I’m rather glad they’re finished. I think I need a knitting break.

    Good luck LG
    Well done Possum
    Nice cardies Pat
Hosta - there's more natural oil on one's nose than one's legs, and often less hair, too - though that is of course a sweeping generalisation.
    Hope the skip arrives, Dove
Hope the traffic wasn't too awful, Chicky
Enjoy the reading LP and the weeding Obs

My tripawd was thoroughly checked over and seems to be doing fine - keeping his weight on, which is a good sign with cancer lurking. The vet hospital waiting room is an amazing place to spend any time. You get used to casual cruelty to animals all around (had a particularly awful example of it very close to home last week), but in a place like that, you always meet people who are doing everything in their power to help the creatures in their care. It's sad and uplifting at the same time.

Better get some work done - see you all later

    Morning all.

I hope LG is doing OK.

Today there is absolutely nothing written on the calendar. May clean the swimming pool.
First I'm off to water the pots on the garden side terrace, sun is out, heatwave about to start.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Ha!  We have clouds and that means breezes so spraying has stopped for now.   Lovely being accompanied by hoopoe calls and still lots of other birdy chorusing going on especially on our evening walks.  No idea about most of them so I shall have to find me a wildlife expert to edjumacate me.

I shall play indoors for a while as I have plenty of jobs to get on with while there's no-one to moan about my re-shuffles or cleaning zeal.  I shall have to get him playing spot the difference when he gets home and charge a bottle of fizz or, better still, a plant for every one he misses.

Busy - how lovely to have a free day with no plans and no urgent jobs.   Enjoy.

Hosta - it's all about angles as well as thickness of skin I reckon.  I have to do a lot of horizontal sun bathing and regular turning to get my lower legs brown tho very easy to get pink thighs!

RG - glad your dog is doing well.  Must be a relief.

Pat - painting, drawing, colouring, ukelele practice?

Obelixx, you’re just mentioned exactly what’s going through my mind. Decisions, decisions
