Congratulations, Lizzie!  You definitely deserve an easy week.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Well done BusyL 😊 sounds like the garden was very well received! I'm sure the cake was too! Glad the weather held out for you. Think you have earned that glass of wine!
I'm finally sat down, had father and brother over for roast chicken and rhubarb crumble for father's Day, everyone gone now and I'm say with a cup of Darjeeling watching the antiques roadshow, have a good evening all

That is disappointing Busy.  We get more than that for an Asphodèle outing (Vendée gardening club) to each other's gardens and I'm the only Brit tho I understand there have been others.   Still, good thing to do but you must be happy not to have to do it again - unless you do it in Norfolk one day.

I have finally finished moving furniture about - hard work but so much easier than doing it with a grumpy OH who doesn't see why.........   I've even re-organised the study and hung all his golf pics at last as well as some of my embroideries in the sewing room.

Dogs have been walked and, since I was making a pork burger for dinner, I gave some to them with hidden worming tabs.  Gotcha!  Flopping now with fet up and a well-deserved glass of wine.

Shame about the strawberries Liri but maybe he can eat them as a light compote/coulis on ice cream or yogurt?  Altho with jam there's always scones and cream.

I have washing to hang out too Pat and Chicky but am saving it till tomorrow.  Much too blowy this pm but sun is expected tomorrow.  Hope you've got Chicklet safely home.

Possum presents her thesis tomorrow and is stressing.   Driving her dad mad but he's better at hiding frustration than I am.   We're supposed to chat on FB tomorrow evening but she may go out for a drink with friends and it seems there's some football match on and can he chat on Tuesday?   Really.

    Evening all.

Congratulations to BusyL on your Open Day - I would find that v stressful (not that I would show my garden unless I could have a year off work to prepare!).

Had a weekend of visiting. My Sister-in-law showed me round her garden as she has been adding and organising her new garden over the last year or so. It was full of goodies - highlights being a lovely black elder/Sambucus, some lovely Lupins and very tall Hollyhocks. I was also impressed with how she uses Lamium as underplanting for tall or climbing plants ... I think I could try some under my Clematis and also to fill a gap in the rockery...

    Hope you all ok.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

At last I've been able to upload some photos on the Garden Gallery of a few days ago! Couldn't do it then. Also one on the proud of your garden thread, but it's May 2016.

    Morning all.
BL, you had quality if not quantity. ;)
The new de-caf , anti insomnia regime ( apart from one cup first thing ) is doing nothing but leaving me with a headache. I don't think I slept for more than half an hour all night long without waking, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes several minutes.
We've had a few hours of drizzle , which , although most welcome and appreciated, hasn't really done much for the garden.
