I think we're early ... I've had a wander around the garden in the nearly purple dressing gown while the kettle boiled and eaten the cold sausage I couldn't eat for supper  ;)

    Morning all,
I think today is the calm before the storm, it is awfully still out there

Good morning.   Sunny, so far.  OH is on a mission pulling weeds on the bank between the flattish, stoned and graveled area behind the house - a future dry garden - and the lower level.  Somebody has covered in weed proofing membrane (not) and then punched holes in it for various shrubs, some of which have died and been hauled out, so it's a bit of a nightmare.

I'm not doing anything mucky till we've been to the vet's later on.  Doggy jabs and check ups but weeding and sowing and pottering on the cards for this pm before we get cleaned up for dance class.  Himself is off to Belgium tomorrow to help Possum rehearse presenting her thesis and then golf, flat hunting and more golf.

I shall be home alone.............   Still no house sitter replacements.

Love cold sausage for breakfast but maybe nearer midday than this early.   Can't eat this early.    Hope all goes well tomorrow Pat.   Hi Pdoc.  You're early!  Sleep OK?

Greetings to all yet to pop in.   LP and all up north - I hope your weather change isn't too drastic.

I just heard the forecast ... looks like you lot up there will need to get your climbers tied in and batten down the hatches!  Put your hard hats on ((hugs))

    Morning all.
Sunny but cool. No rain today, hopefully. Washing in machine. Hope to finish the weeding, then staking where necessary and friend in village is coming to help deadhead end of the week. I must make 2 more cakes and make up 7 beds before Sunday, plus ours which needs clean sheets.

Flippin' 'eck but it's cold out there.
I've just watered all the terrace and had to come in for a cuppa. My feet are freezing.
Methinks the shorts will be swapped for joggers and the overalls will be coming out of the cupboard too.
@Obelixx, how is your pond doing now you've had some rain?

Hello you latecomers  ;)  I hope you get the weather you want  B)
We may get rain by this evening apparently ... if we don't then I shall have to water the veg patch.
Thinking Chicky and her family today.
