When we sold our Belgian house chappy came with a drone to take aerial photos.... and spent ages doing every room from several angles with all the lights on and after I'd had a thorough clean.

I did a clean before the agents came the first time but they only told me about coming for photos yesterday afternoon, they'd been waiting for some blue sky. The photographer is off sick so they hadn't got a drone, but that had been the plan.

Weeded and weeded today. Have a rash on my arms from goosegrass. I was feeling pleased that the long border didn't have much this year. Went to weed the lower trellis bed and it was smothered in the horrid stuff.

I didn't know there was a tendon operation, hope you can manage to get it done Fairy, I've had chronic tendonitis for a few years, can be a real nuisance.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good luck with it BL. The photos can make a huge difference [ in my humble opinion ]
Over here, they touch up the sky and make it blue if it isn't  ;)
It's the tendons at the top of my arm - where they go into the shoulder [rotator cuff muscles are torn] If they don't do whatever it is they do, they retract and you lose proper function of the arm. I'm not sure exactly what's involved until I  see a specialist, but they do one big incision on top of the shoulder, or three little ones.
Maybe they attach rubber bands.... ;)

The 3 little incisions, is if they do the op. through a telescope. Aim is to stitch the tendons back onto the Humerus.
I think our holiday is sorted, hopefully booked a cottage in Badachro, just around the bay from Gairloch, a place we have stayed in a few times. Just depends on me making it up in one piece now.
How can you lie there and think of England

Thanks doc - the girl I saw got very technical when she was explaining the issue, and she didn't clarify exactly what was involved, apart from the one or three incisions! I see the physio again soon, and she was keen to know the results of the examination, so I'll make my decisions at that point.
Holiday sounds grand - I'm sure you'll be fine as soon as you get some of that clean Highland air. You'll be like a new man :)

    Good morning all  :)
haven't seen Pat lately ... hope she's ok.
Overcast here but from my vantage point of under the duvet it looks like a lovely calm and mild day ... I think there's some deadheading to be done and I spotted some chickweed in the front border which I probably ought to tackle. Also I can fill some tubs with summer bedding :)

Monring Dove - haven't seen Pat either, but I don't have time in the mornings to come on here, so I often miss her anyway.
Been awake since 4.15, and eventually got up. :/
I spent an hour removing lily beetle larvae from my big clump of lilies. First time I've had them here. It's quite satisfying [if messy] dispatching them  :D

Forgot to ask you - how was the fish supper? Always tastes better by the sea. Think that may be on the cards later here...the fish not the sea  ;)

It was very good indeed Fairy. Friends had haddock, we had local line caught cod ... very good chips too. We sat on Cromer pier (marvellous ... google it) and watched school children and teachers crabbing and visiting the lifeboat, and a hang glider who appeared to enjoy the attention he got and nearly crashed into the Bagot goats grazing the cliff face.
    A lovely day.   :)
