    @Obelixx

    Sounds a proper sore one, you have my sympathy. The little trick I mentioned really does work (although, I daresay there will be limitations), it sucks it straight out. Nice and clean as well.  The last one I had where I tried it was a deep skelf from mending my fence (not as nasty as yours by the sounds of it tbf), right in the corner of the quick, very awkward to get out, but 2 mins of suction from the 'steam vacuum' thingy and it was out.  Worth a go I reckon.

    Either way, I hope it heals up soon. :)

    p.s   Where has my sun went?  :(

    Hurrumph .... 'they' seem less positive now than earlier about the sun arriving in Norfolk before long ........

    Never mind ... today has been designated a pasty making day, as son has announced that he is available to visitors tomorrow ...

    Morning all,  Grey and cool here, hope it warms up later.  Off on Jonah duty later today so no gardening until the weekend.  Waiting for gas man to arrive to service the boiler, he's late, could have had longer under the duvet.

    Cold here, back to jeans tee shirt cardi and socks!  Must say I prefer it, I flag and sag in the heat. Better gardening weather.

    I've got socks on today!   But the kitchen will warm up when the oven goes on  ;)

    That’s a good idea, maybe I’ll cook something, I’m just thinking about getting my fingerless mitts as my fingers are starting to ache already. Was that our summer!

    Just looked on weather chart, it won’t get to any more than 15c up here today, and the forecast is no better for the next couple of weeks.
