Schools up here on holiday now which usually means rain but none forecast in the foreseeable future.

Perhaps I should suggest that my brother organises a big BBQ ... it's common knowledge that such an event usually triggers torrential rain  ;)

Don't want torrential rain Dove. Just nice and steady overnight for a few nights.

I know, that's the problem ... he seems only to be able to cause something like Noye's Fludde .... maybe it's because he lives near Aldeburgh?   ;)

Thank you for the prize bull article Dove. I didn't see him as we only had time for a quick glimse at the cows showing rings, saw some Jerseys and ? Herefords. I spent too long on gardening and horses. The Shadwell Estate is about 15 mins from here.

We went to Peterborough today to apply for OH's Passport, meant it will only take a week to arrive. Had a light lunch there. Lovely Cathedral, nice town square, otherwise all the usual. Tom Tom took us down country roads on the way, nice drive, but on the way back she took us by dual carriageways, horrible, roadworks and traffic jams.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

@Lyn I'm not sure it's any form of promise:
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/0/2646704
20% chance of rain = 80% chance of no rain.
I'd not get my hopes up.

    Devon.

We had a visitor this afternoon.

He was looking for Mr Blackbird so I shooed him off after I took the photos.
    Devon.
