    Morning all.

I'm baby sitting for Son 2. Nanny can't come this week and replacement couldn't do this morning. Just the baby, aged 1, the 2 littlies have gone to nursery school.

Warm and sunny today and forecast to continue, so I must water all the garden before we go to Norfolk on Wednesday.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Bring your sunscreen @Busy-Lizzie and a sunhat and your cozzie!!!  B)

I've just been out there watering ... now I've put the seeper hose on the Shady Bank for an hour or so ... it's parched!

And we have tomatoes ... two Marmandes have got fruit swelling nicely. :)

I enjoyed the Pilates, need to decide about properly joining the class. Do you go to a class, Chicky?

Enjoy your one-on-one time with the baby, BL.

I think it'll be a long time before we have tomatoes, Dove - I was so late with potting them on. I do have one Costaluto fiorentino plant that might do the business - bought it rather than sowed it and got it out a bit earlier.

We're in concert season again. Bow bailed out of one last week (they had too many cellos so it didn't matter), the first of Trill's was last night (she had a little piccolo solo and I was SO PROUD). Then they're both in one on Thursday, and each have a different concert on Saturday - OH and I are boxing and coxing to attend. A week off (Trill's away with school) then back into full on rehearsals for Bow, a concert for both of them, another concert for Bow and then I think that's almost it (several concerts in Romania for Bow but we won't be there :disappointed:). I love it but do wish it could all be spread out a bit more!

I'll tidy up a bit when it's properly dry and take some photos.

    Pic bounce

As long as it doesn't get covered in those little pollen beetles and thunder bugs like yellow teeshirts on the washing line do at this time of year ... your Lovely Hub won't be amused  ;)

The tarmac lorry and another full of shovels and wheelbarrows have pulled up outside where the men dug a hole this morning ... looks as if they're just in time to totally disrupt the home-time car chaos from the school up the rise ... again lol

Feel sorry for the men in their plastic helmets and Hi-viz stuff ... they must be sweltering ... it's 30+C in the shade ... heaven knows what it is out there

30  ish here too but have been inside all day at patchwork.   Last session of the season so apéro, shared nibbles and shared desserts with our own lunch in between.  Great fun.  The project for the day was a "decorative" fabric nesting box.  Honestly.   I shall be putting mine in the pile of things to sell.   Had a good day tho.  There are some real characters there.

Being unused to a day of rest, my ankles have swollen so it's fee up to drain them before I put my bovver boots on to do walkies.   Feeling weary as I was woken at 4am by Cosmos needing cuddles and Minstrel at 5am announcing the latest mouse and then wanting cuddles.   Found a heart and half a bale of hay on the landing when I finally got up.

LG - sounds busy but rewarding.  Enjoy while you can.   Busy - you too.

Greetings to all.  I'm off to walk dogs then have some dinner and see if there's anything on TV....

Evening all. I won't mention the heat - Hosta might shout at me.... :D
Will we need  B) for the photos of the house?
I watered and pottered at lunchtime for ten minutes but had to come inside for my lunch. We're not used to this you know   ;)
Does that happen a lot Obelixx [your ankles ] or is the heat that causes it?
How annoying Yvie. My little greenhouse is coming on Thursday. Good timing as the bigger toms I've sown are needing moved on into final pots.  :)
That's put me in the mood for an ice cream Dove! Not something I have very often.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
