Very sorry Pdoc.  Any good books to read or films to watch to keep you busy but rested?
    Big hugs.

Hey everyone - sounds like a few of you need hugs.
I wonder if Busy’s heatwave will call in on us in UK?? I saw a few ‘25s’ on the forecast for next week - which is tropical for Wales!

Did a tip run today with loads of cardboard boxes which were in the garage, so more room for Man-hobbies now (or to the untrained eye -broken bikes and a tool bag spilled on the floor).

Found a goodie in the main border today - Bear’s Breeches coming into flower! I have a messy section at the back of the border that I leave to its own devices and had spotted the distinctive leave before but it has never flowered (is that usual?) so chuffed with this as it will give a bit of interest at height.

    Catch you later...

Lovely clem Dove.  I had one in Belgium but haven't found one here yet.  On the other hand, Jan Fopma is in fine flowering form today and has a lovely perfume so all is not lost and my perfumed koreana Blue Eclipse that I have grown from seed will be perfumed too when big enough to flower.

Sitting with feet up enjoying a decaf before I walk the dogs.  Been sorting out my walk-in pantry shelves all afternoon - re-configuring, cleaning, sorting, re-organising more logically.   All sorts of ancient dried beans and porcini mushrooms and poppadums chucked out.  Gone off dried mushrooms.   Found some dried kashmiri chillies I'd forgotten about which is great cos no such thing round here.

28C out there now, apparently and 32C expected tomorrow.  I might have to clean the fridge during the hot part.  Lovely and cool in the pantry.

I'm persevering with a decaf rather than "enjoying" it.
I wish it was 28C here , or even within 10C of it. :(

You'll get used to it Hosta.   We used to like Oxfam organic decaf in Belgium but can't get it here so have switched to Lavazzo which is fine now we're used to it.

Look what happens when you let your plants choose how they grow

Of course, this is exactly what I meant to happen  o:)

Ouch Glenys.  Broken ribs are very painful, even just breathing let alone moving.   Keep him warm and as still as possible and propped with pillows.  Good luck.

Lovely pic Dove - sort of thing I'm aiming for when I plant up my new roses and clems borders.  Which rose and clem?
