    Good morning,

Enjoy your hols in Holland Chicky, my kind of holiday. :)
Lily - thanks, feels so good, didn't imagine I could ever be in this position again, very happy. Sorry about your planned buildings though, a shame.
Lizzie, yes, sorry I saw your message, real shame, I was looking forward to it. Can't do 17th June, I have an event, BBQ & English Beer for Father's Day, very best wishes with your Open Day, just think it might be your last in that garden.   :#
Safe return from hols Dove, I trust you have rebooked the 'B&B' for same time next year.  ;)
Hello Fairy, will certainly make the most of the garden now, happy to get out of bed a dawn to amble through it. :)
Have a coach party coming today for afternoon tea on the lawn, forecast is good and now they have flowers to look at - hurrah!
Have a good day all. xx

    Morning all.
A little overcast , but still no rain although some forecast later ( 21.00 22% chance) so might miss it.
I've got a sprinkler on the bed with acers and hostas and I'm aiming to finish the compost mulching later in readiness for mass dahlia / canna planting . ( that way the mulch gets worked in as I'm planting , then I can top it up as I go )
I need to get 2 loads of washing on the go too .
Our old ( as in former, not as in age ) cleaner is starting back this morning. Hubby says he can't manage it all whilst he's up country and he knows I'm in the garden / tunnels all day so he's happy to pay her.  :D
Have a lovely time in Holland chicky.

    Hi all.
OH is taking a few days off, so we just need to decide what we are going to do, that does not involve travel, or too much effort.

did Mrs P get another job? I think I’ve missed that. But have a lovely break wherever you go.🕶 Don’t come to the West Country, it’s going to rain for the unforeseeable! 🌦🌧⛈☔️

Happy birthday Pdoc.  Have a lovely time with Mrs P whatever you decide to do.

Sunny again here so I'm off down the PT before it gets too hot.  Have to plant the toms I didn't get around to yesterday and maybe put out the Tuscan salad mix plugs then wall painting and general pottering.   Shopping, cleaning and more pottering tomorrow.   If it's OK I don't want any serious rain for the next week while Possum's here.....

No builders today as they can't do owt else till the shower pan and loo fittings go in tomorrow.    Plumbers, masons and electrics

Good that your mum is happy Liri.   And the finger too I hope, now that it's been liberated.    LP - well done getting the village going.   FG - can't they go a bit further than Mars?  Uranus seems more fitting.   Chicky - enjoy the holiday.

Have a good day everyone whatever you're doing and, if you have plans for the long weekend, may they work out beautifully.
