That's a pain and worry she doesn't need Pat. He clearly can't be helped at home now and isn't appreciative of what has been done for him and is, quite understandably, angry about his situation. He needs to be counselled to calm down and accept and your daughter needs to know it's OK to stay away now. She's done all she can and more than anyone could expect.
Cold here and grey and trying to drizzle. H****work so far but that will soon be done and leave me free to sew or sow. I fancy the latter and I also have some toms to prick out. Signs of 2 aquilegias out of the 3 varieties sown and 2 monardas and 2 baptisias - anyone see a pattern here? Not a lot else going on in the flower seed department.
Set to rain properly later on and then the wind will swing to the north tomorrow which isn't going to help temperatures at all.
I hope those of you at home get some decent gardening and growing weather and those at work get some pottering time when they get home.
Hugs to Pdoc and Mrs P.
Has anyone any news of Clari? I hope she's OK.

OH will be happy it's cold & wet I have finally spent the morning putting up an extra Robe/towel hook in the shower room. One of those jobs I kept putting off as it involved drilling into a porcelain tile. I had to use a diamond core drill & go very slowly, it's a job that always makes me nervous, as there is so much potential to go wrong. However SUCCESS - this time anyway.
According to the Met Office there may well be a warm spell for our hols ... but they're not certain ... yet ... grrr, it won't let me add something OUTSIDE the box. I was going to say, " you'll have a very warm welcome here"
We know we can be sure of that ((hugs))
Pat ... I agree with everything Obelixx has said ... tell her to give herself some time off ... he may well be more settled when she's not there.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
We arrived back in France yesterday evening. The garden has grown like mad, some clematis are out and the cherry blossom is now thousands of tiny green cherries. The mice ate the pea seeds, have re-sown after soaking in paraffin. The seedlings in the GH have shot up, some are flowering.
Went to the SM this morning to stock up, had no fresh fruit and veg. The Housesitter had bought us a bottle of milk and a loaf of bread. The broccoli in the veg garden is now a mass of yellow flowers. This afternoon I spent gardening, re-sowing the peas, sowing sweetcorn in the GH and perpetual spinach which meant preparing the soil first. Then spent an hour or two weeding the long border. So much to do. Going to stay with son for a few days on Sunday so I must get a move on.
It was sunny and 0° at 8am then clouded over around 5pm.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

It has been really cold here today.
