Loved the Nokia snake game Clari  :D

Pretty soggy here this morning.  Got caught in some of the same downpours as you yesterday Raisingirl.  Love the thought of you leaving puddles of rainwater on meeting room floors  :p

Going on a garden club trip to Ramster Gardens this evening - hope it dries up by then.  Think I’d better take some wellies ☔️

    Good morning all  :) G'day Pat  :)
a heavy shower overnight has freshened the garden up a bit. Now it's overcast and a bit misty.
Heading to Wonky's late on today to retrieve my plants   :)

    Still no rain here.
The neighbours cat is being terrorised by a pair of Magpies that keep buzzing him. They make a infernal racket, clacking away.  I have to give him sanctuary. he hides under the parasol over the outdoor table. I then have to escort him home as he doesn't like crossing an open lawn.
    Has anyone heard from Marion?

    Morning all.
Another rubbish night. Awake until almost 3am.
Chicky, I think you're clearly using your phone the way it should be used. Using it as a very useful tool, but not letting it control you.
Those users I can't get my head around are those who have their heads stuck in them at every opportunity just looking at rubbish on "Social media".
One of my, much older colleagues, came over and showed me her phone yesterday at breaktime. " would you share this on FB if you'd made it ?" Then showed me a photo of some girl in a crochet top. Like I could give a flying fig. It wasn't even someone she knew!! I mean why? who actually cares? and why do folk spend their time looking at this junk?
It seems some folk clearly have nothing in the slightest bit constructive to do with their lives.

    Hi all
I really was going to start planting the large Cannas and Dahlias today. I had everything I needed outside: spade, compost, fertiliser and water.................and it is now p#####g it down, I can see various unstaked plants, collapsing in front of my eyes.
Oh well, who said it was easy.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

@Fidget, don't think anyone has heard from Marion or her friend for some months now. She had not been been keeping very well and said she was having various tests at the hospital.
