  • Awh naw........I spy cloud cover rolling in.......and the forecast says rain!! Noooooooo!!!
:'(    Summer in Scotland is over (in 41 minutes apparently) and a thunderstorm is on its way.  :(       Man, I hate the rain. There's plenty water in the spigot who needs rain?

I'm moving to the South of France! (I wish).

Evening. Very dull and drizzly out so can’t be bothered to inspect the garden tonight. Might open the door for a waft of night-scented phlox maybe.
We’ve all had a predictive text fail! (One predictive suggestion for ‘phlox’ was ‘phlegm’ for example!)

    Night scented phlegm.

    Anyway... good evening everyone.

I can't remember when I last posted, so I can't remember who I've 'spoken' to virtually, and who I've spoken to only in my head... sorry.

Odd weather. Hot, sunny and a bit muggy on Monday. Muggy and damp feeling followed by TORRENTIAL rain (and some rumbly thunder) yesterday, cooler and damp feeling but no rain today. I think the plants are enjoying it though. Odd to hear the Scottish contingent asking for rain!

It has quite suddenly dawned on me that I have exams in 3 weeks and feel like I haven't learnt stuff yet, let alone revised it. So that's mainly what I'm doing. Too soggy for much outside anyway.

Hope Dove's smalls have found their way home, albeit larger than before ;)

It's another reason I don't have predictive text....
LG - it's only fair that we get some decent weather  ;)
Good luck with your revision - remind us nearer the time so that we can send positive thoughts and good luck to you  :)
I've finally done my walk pix on the camera thread - with the addition of my 'confession' which I didn't mention on Sunday. The curse of Glen Etive strikes again... :D

    Sounds a lovely day, Obelixx.

We arrived back this afternoon to find there had been storms and the river was swollen again. The phone wasn't working so I rang Orange on my mobile, had to go in the garden to find a signal. There had been an "incident". Phone has just started working again. Flight was about half an hour late.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
