I’m SO glad we are retired. I can’t bear to think of the hours we used to work. Hubby used to catch the train when we were in Melbourne and the train journey took an hour. That’s without the bits on both ends. Have a good one both of you.
Did you damage your hand Pat? I think I've missed that - possibly when I was offline for a while. I struggle to get on in the morning just now because I have exercises to do, so no time before I leave the house.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
No Fairy. I had flu and pneumonia jabs a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been aching all over since. I’m trying not to take pain killers, but have broken out a couple of times. 😏 i assume it’s just a matter of time before my body copes with the live bacillus.
Good morning all . just popped in to say Hi ... all is wonderful here ... blue skies, turquoise sea, soft sand, suntan already ... sheer bliss ... may never leave ... Hope all are well and enjoying their gardens
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning Dove, sounds gorgeous! Only one day off this week so housework, washing and cooking, then back to work, hardly seems like a weekend! No time to read anything so I'll catch up with everyone later, take care all
We're supposed to get some rain later today Hosta, but the forecast has been chopping and changing every day about it. We were menat to get some on Tuesday, but it didn't come to much. I hate to say it - but we could do with a little, as long as they remember to turn it back off now and again. It's been unusually dry here.
I agree re the need for some rain Fairy, preferably overnight. I have had the hose out to give the big pots of permanent plants a good soak. Not complaining as May is usually good up here. Pat, hope you will soon feel more like yourself. LG, love that kind of plant sale.

I officially finish at 4, but it's usually nearer 7, or sometimes 8, or even 9.
Have a good one both of you.
